Celebrating the number 1! 

I talk a lot about music preference because it is so important to successful music therapy. I was a little fascinated with today's date and wondered what were the number one hits on this date for the past 11 years? Lo and behold, the internet is an amazing place! Little did I know that I would find the number one hits for November 1st for the last 11 years, but all the way back to the 1890's!?? I don't know how they figured those out!

The Home that Music Built 

I have seen some music groups and music therapy groups done at a shelter here in Tallahassee with some success. I think it is great that these teenagers in San Diego are able to express themselves through music with a real band!
